Planning the stay

Our decision to visit Rome for a vacation was very sudden. It was a coincidence that me and some of my friends could afford to take a break from office at the same time. They decision had to be instant as we had just a week's time. Sam suggested Italy and we knew hotels Rome,would be the ideal place to enjoy the best in Italy. Once decided, we packed our bags immediately. Since it was the high tourist season in Rome, we had to actually seach a lot to find comfortable hotels Rome. My uncle staying in Naples,came to our rescue. When we finally got a view of the city, our tiredness vanished.

We took a cab to hotel Tempio Di Pallade in Rome, near the attractions of the city. The accomoation that we booked had a very pleasant atmosphere. We noticed that the public transport system was located quite nearby. Besides, the rooms were quite comfortable and the breakfast they offered as soon as we reached was lavish. What more could we have asked for?

All of us were quite excited to visit the city known all over the world for its glorious history and culture. We decided to visit the historic center of the city first. We knew that we would be surely mesmerised by the wonderful palaces, churches, Roman ruins, ornate statues, fountains and museums.When our vacation came to an end we felt like waking up after seeing a beautiful dream.

Attractions of the city

We chose to visit the museums of the city first. Rome's National Museum was one of my favourite museums I have ever visited. Located at the Baths of Diocletian in the Modern Center, it offered an impressive collection of archeology. We also enjoyed a walk along Piazza Navona located nearby. Some other museums that we visited during our vacation in hotels Rome, include the Vaticans.

On our way to one of the most famous attractions in Rome, i.e the Colosseum, we came across one of the beautiful hotels Rome. With we connections to international airports and the main railway station, hotel Ariston Rome. Bascilica Sant Maria Maggiore located nearby this accomodation, was another famous landmark that we visited.

I would also like to mention about hotel Scheppers Rome.Set in the green neighbourhood of Aurelio in Rome, behind Vatican, tourists would surely love to spend time in this establishment. The list of other sights that we visited became quite lenghty. Some of them were the Roman Forum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, St. Peter's Basilica and Sistine Chapel.

Other activities

Roman love to eat and so did we during our vacation in Rome. Nightlife in Rome offers many great resturants, cafes and bars, that can make up for vibrant nightlife. It was a nice experience to sit in one of the outdoor cafes and watch the city passing by. I relished on home made pasta and wine. One of the most memorable evenings was spent in a restaurant near the Fountain of Four Rivers. We also managed to visit a night club during our stay in hotels Rome. Shopping in Rome was another exciting experience.

Time to return home!! We were not very happy to check out of our hotels Rome and return to the regular life. But the memories of our visit was so pleasant that we could make up our minds to start afresh. We would surely like to spend another vacation in Rome, if possible.
